This photographic series originated from a film script conceived during my residency at KAOS. Throughout this period, a distinct perception of time began to unfold, interwoven within my artistic endeavours and interactions. It was not the initial premise but rather a sudden deceleration in thought, a moment of introspection. This led to the creation of a film script translated into sketches and drawings, an interplay between text and visual representation. I’ve written various stories about experiences with time. The script structure is divided into different chapters focusing on various time experiences: a meeting in a bar, on the road, vinduikers in een bad and île déserte. The serie is an imaginative, nonsensical narrative on the experience of time titled ‘Waiting Room’. These fictitious tales explore temporal experiences, sometimes encapsulating moments of standstill. Fragments of the script have been translated into images and snippets of text, amalgamated to form a photographic sequence.
