Eva Beazar

The fern plant leaves traces in nature, giving rise to new forms and species of ferns. The idea of leaving traces fascinates me. These imprints are often invisible and mutable. In the photographic series “sporen” (2023), memories are portrayed. Through these memories, something is left behind. They aren’t always distinct; they morph, vanish, repeat. Using collage and scanning techniques, the abstract forms of memories are depicted.
